 MetabolicMD is the first of its kind metabolic health and medical weight management practice in Ohio, Indiana and Florida. We focus on disease reversal and prevention through weight loss and comprehensive metabolic health parameters. Our patients typically have conditions such as metabolic syndrome, diabetes, pre-diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea, fatty liver disease, back and joint pain, depression and more.

The MetabolicMD Program is designed to work in collaboration with primary care physicians, OB/GYN, orthopedics, cardiology, gastroenterology, psychiatrists and mental health therapists, and more. This multi faceted treatment approach boasts better outcomes for the unique patient needs.

Our program is founded upon fresh, whole food meal strategies. We use a low carbohydrate diabetic exchange diet with weekly visits to foster behavioral change. Appointments are all one-on-one with our highly trained and caring team of expert clinicians and health coaches.

Our patients typically want to lose anywhere from 10 pounds to 100 pounds. On average, after six-months, patients achieve:

• 12.6% body weight loss
• 5 point reduction in BMI
• 5 inch reduction in waist circumference
• 8 point reduction in systolic blood pressure
• 4.5 point reduction in diastolic blood pressure

Our patients pay out of pocket, and fees can often be partially reimbursed to patients with PPO insurance, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Health Savings Accounts. We provide a concierge billing service to handle the submission and processing of PPO insurance claims.

Doximity Telemedicine Services is well recognized by patients, physicians, and cybersecurity rating agencies for both the platform’s ease of use and high level of HIPAA compliant security.
